adapted from a picture on
the Cornell Lab of Orinithology web site. It was contained in an article
entitled: "Dynamics of a Common Redpoll Irruption in Eastern North America",
authored by Jeffrey V. Wells, Kenneth V. Rosenberg, Diane L. Tesaglia,
André A. Dondt,
and Jeff Price, describing some of the results of the ongoing
"Project FeederWatch".
Unfortunately, most of the article seems to have disappeared from cyberspace.
Presumably the copyright for this picture is owned by the Cornell Lab of
Ornithololgy. I have asked for permission to use it.
